Basile Baudin and Georges Imbault, mastering metal

In 1919, Basile Baudin, a businessman and Georges Imbault, a bridge engineer founded the SNC Baudin Company.
Both were passionate by metal, great architectural constructions and challenging space.

Established in Chateauneuf-sur-Loire (45), the company was managed by B. Baudin until 1932 and then G. Imbault until 1951. The company was renamed under its actual name BAUDIN CHATEAUNEUF in 1952. Created for manufacturing of electric poles and warehouses, the firm directed towards the construction of steel bridges.

After WW II, BAUDIN CHATEAUNEUF actively participated in the rebuilding of bridges in France, which enhanced its experience, and developed its knowledge of suspension bridges, as springboards for its future expansion.
